Dr. Jon Rees is the commercial co-founder and chief executive officer of MitoRx Therapeutics. He is an experienced life sciences executive and entrepreneur with expertise in business development, pharmaceutical strategy, venture capital deal sourcing, and fundraising for emerging biotechnology companies. Rees also serves as a research and development trustee for PKD Charity UK. He completed a BSc in biochemistry at the University of Manchester and an MSc in industrial biotechnology at Liverpool John Moores University. He later gained a PhD in biochemistry at the University of London.
