Dr. Jorgen de Haan is a senior field application scientist in Cytiva’s scientific laboratory services group, where he provides expert support to customers on the application of laboratory technologies and products. With a strong foundation in molecular biology and biochemistry, Jorgen brings deep scientific insight to help researchers optimize their workflows and achieve reliable results. He received his PhD in biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where his research focused on the molecular mechanisms of estrogen receptor action. He continued his scientific training with postdoctoral work at the Wyeth-Ayerst Research Women’s Health Research Institute and the University of Michigan. Prior to joining Cytiva, Jorgen held research scientist positions at the Broad Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital.
