Joseph (Yossi) Mossel is co-founder, US president and general manager at Ibex Medical Analytics. He previously served as the chief executive officer at Ibex, bringing the company from inception to a global leader in clinical-grade AI-powered pathology. As of 2026, Mossel oversees the company’s biopharma division, where his focus is on the growth of partnerships with leading biopharmaceutical companies that leverage Ibex’s AI-powered platform for biomarker development and commercialization. Built on a foundation of clinical leadership and technical excellence, Ibex’s biopharmaceutical offering is designed to support pharma partners end-to-end, from biomarker development through global regulatory clearances to real-world clinical availability at scale. Earlier in his career, Mossel held product and leadership roles at startups and large multinational corporations, taking products from inception to multi-million-dollar businesses. He also served as managing director of Israel's National Ecosystem Assessment Program. He holds an MSc in computer science from Tel Aviv University and an MSc in environmental science from VU Amsterdam. Mossel is an alumnus of the Adi Lautman Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students at Tel Aviv University.
