Machine Learning and Bioinformatics Manager

Katherine is a bioinformatician with a background in evolutionary biology, microbiology, and biophysics. She completed her PhD at MIT before joining the machine learning team at Oxford Nanopore Technologies four years ago. She currently leads the primary and secondary analysis team, whose goal is to improve the accuracy and robustness of basecalling, variant calling, and consensus models.
