Group Leader
at The Francis Crick Institute
Dr. Leanne Li leads the Cancer-Neuroscience laboratory at The Francis Crick Institute. Her lab employs contemporary cancer genetics and neuroscience methodologies to reveal cancer-nervous system interactions in a panel of genetically engineered mouse models, mainly focusing on lung and pancreatic cancers. They aim to identify the logic underpinning how the body senses and responds to cancer progression via the nervous system, thereby harnessing this crosstalk to advance cancer therapeutics. She received an MD degree from the National Taiwan University and her PhD from EPFL.
