Dr. Liliana Brown is the office director for the Office of Genomics and Advanced Technologies in the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). Dr. Brown has experience in omics of infectious diseases and computational biology through her academic career at Trinity DC University and research at the J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI). Prior to joining NIAID, Dr. Brown was Associate Director of Scientific Affairs at the Society for Women’s Health Research, a non-profit advocacy group in Washington, DC. Dr. Brown received her PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Maryland College Park.
