Luis Ochoa Carrera, MS profile page

Luis Ochoa Carrera currently serves as the High-Containment Lab/Pandemic Safety Manager and Responsible Official for the Select Agent Program for Michigan State University. He has wide experience in Public Health and Epidemiological Surveillance since 2009. Prior to his current position, he received a Master´s Degree in Public Health Management focused on Biological Risk Management. As one of the eighteen founding members and past President of the AMEXBIO, he has strengthened the network between biosafety professionals in the Latin American region and has served as a mentor of different mentoring programs around the world. Luis also serves as one of the IFBA Board of Directors and is the current President of ABSA International.
