Mathias Kroll, PhD profile page

Dr. Mathias Kroll is currently the chief business officer at Cynata Therapeutics Ltd. He previously worked as the chief commercial officer at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. He holds a doctorate in HIV research performed at the Pasteur Institute in Paris (FR), an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne (CH) and several MSc degrees and diplomas from different countries. Kroll has conceived and established a number of significant global collaborations, licensing and acquisitions in the field of development, manufacturing and sales of pharmaceutical products, including small molecules, antibodies, vaccines, peptides and cell therapies, involving players from academic research, Industry and supranational organizations. Manufacturing, supply and distribution have been key themes in his transactions. He has worked in business and corporate development for GSK, Bavarian Nordic and UCB and has led research groups in Bayer Healthcare and Sanofi. He studied chemistry and biology in Germany and the United States, obtaining tertiary degrees in each, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Kroll has lived in nine countries on four continents.
