Michael Diamond is the Herbert S. Gasser Professor in the Department of Medicine, Molecular Microbiology, Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine. He earned his PhD in cell and developmental biology from Harvard University and an MD from Harvard Medical School. His research group studies the molecular basis of disease of globally emerging RNA viruses, focusing on the interface between pathogenesis and host immunity.
