Prof. Pauliina Damdimopoulou is a professor of reproductive biology in the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health at the Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. Her research focuses on effects of environmental exposures on female fertility. In the Damdimopoulou Lab, researchers use primary human ovarian tissue to study the cellular and chemical composition of the ovary, age-related changes, and the effects of environmental stressors and gonadotoxic therapies on ovarian function.
