Dr. Philipp Holliger is a program leader at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK. His research is aimed at gaining a better understanding of the fundamental principles and chemical logic that shape genetic systems and enable heredity and evolution, two of the defining hallmarks of life. His research into, and engineering of, RNA polymerases and in vitro translation, has opened up new avenues in antibody screening.
