Field Application Specialist

Dr. Robert Beal gained his degree in biochemistry from the University of Oxford in 2011, followed by a master's in immunology in 2013 from Imperial College London. He completed his PhD in biomedical science at Queen Mary, University of London in 2017, researching the effects of endothelial cell junctions in inflammation and immune cell trafficking. Following this, he completed a post-doctoral position at UCL in developmental biology, followed by a second post-doc at Manchester Metropolitan University in cardiovascular biology. He has worked for Bio-Rad since 2022 as a field application specialist covering the north of the UK and supporting all things qPCR and Droplet Digital™ PCR.
