Rosa Sottile, PhD profile page

Dr. Rosa Sottile started using flow cytometry early in her immunology training, focusing on T-cell and NK-cell responses in cancer. She earned her PhD in molecular oncology and immunology in Italy and trained at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. Since then, she has gained experience in immune profiling and assay development in both academic and translational research, designing complex panels and supporting immunotherapy projects. In 2017, Rosa moved to New York for a postdoctoral fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. There, she led studies on T- and NK-cell therapies and developed advanced cytometry assays for biomarker discovery. Later, as an immunology scientist at Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan, she worked with clinical teams to introduce advanced immune monitoring and large flow cytometry panels for research and early clinical trials. Rosa is passionate about flow cytometry and teamwork. She enjoys helping researchers design strong experiments and produce reliable, high-quality data.
