Ryan Sultan, PhD profile page

Dr. Ryan Sultan is a board-certified psychiatrist and an assistant professor of clinical psychiatry at Columbia University, where he leads research on adolescent mental health and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Nationally recognized for his expertise in ADHD, Sultan has published widely on its diagnosis, treatment and comorbidities, particularly in youth populations. He leads NIH-funded research on ADHD and comorbidities and has published in JAMA, The Journal of Adolescent Health and JAACAP. His work uses large-scale data, electronic health records and AI-based tools to better understand ADHD’s developmental trajectory and improve intervention strategies.
