Dr. Saar Gill is a professor of medicine in the division of hematology-oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. Since 2011, he has been working on developing genetically engineered immune cells for the treatment of cancer.
Gill is a physician-scientist who places a strong emphasis on translational research, and concepts developed in his laboratory have already led to several clinical trials for the treatment of hematologic malignancies.
Gill co-founded Carisma Therapeutics and Interius Biotherapeutics.
