Simon Spichak is an entrepreneur, an award-winning science communicator and a neuroscientist. He is the co-founder of Resolvve Inc., an organization that provides centralized mental health services for high school and university students. Spichak submitted his MSc at the APC Microbiome Ireland at University College Cork in the Anatomy and Neuroscience Department. Using a combination of primary cell culture and sequencing techniques, he worked to understand how the trillions of bacteria in the gut affect the brain. Specifically, he looked at microbial metabolites across human microbiome studies.
