Tamara Zwain is a lecturer in pharmaceutical science at the University of Lancashire. She has a PhD in nanoparticle formulations for targeted brain cancer therapy and extensive experience in pharmaceutical formulation, nanomedicine and 2D/3D in-vitro screening, including blood–brain barrier models.
Tamara leads a research group developing targeted therapies using plant-based compounds, aptamers and antibodies, and teaches MSc and MPharm courses in drug discovery and development. Her work bridges research and education, mentoring and lecturing students in Biomedical Sciences at undergraduate, MSc and PhD levels.
