Vivian Ott profile page

Vivian is an integral member of the Cell Cultivation Techniques working group at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). She works within the Centre for Cell Cultivation Techniques, Tissue Engineering, and Medical Biology at the Institute of Chemistry and Biotechnology. Vivian's contributions span several research and development projects aimed at refining cell cultivation processes. Her work includes developing cultivation techniques with animal and plant cells on a milliliter scale and scaling these processes up to the pilot level. Vivian is also involved in projects focused on creating innovative devices and systems tailored to meet the demands of biopharmaceutical producers. In addition to her R&D efforts, she is committed to training and mentoring Bachelor’s and Master’s students in the Biotechnology program, preparing them for future careers in this dynamic field.
