Dr. Chen is a bioinformatics scientist at PacBio. She is interested in developing computational methods to solve challenging genomics problems. After receiving her PhD degree in molecular biology from Princeton University in 2015, she first worked as a bioinformatics scientist at Illumina, contributing to research and development of short-read based sequencing products. She joined PacBio in 2022 and has been working on computational methods for long-read sequencing data since then.
