A cross-section of mouse pancreatic tumor tissue. These cancer cells (stained purple) lack a protein called KRT19 on their outer layer that is part of a complex that deactivates T cell (green) movement. Without KRT19, T cells are able to infiltrate the tumor. Cell nuclei are labeled in blue.
