The sixth MGED meeting will focus on high throughput screening methods, in particular microarrays, and associated data handling issues. Tutorials on the first day will cover data normalization, analysis, annotation and submission to databanks. Workshops on the following day allow for community feedback and involvement in directing emerging standards. The meeting concludes with plenary talks by leading users and pioneers in the field of microarrays.
The 5th MGED Programming Jamboree, immediately follows the MGED6 meeting, from September 6th to 8th. It is aimed at software and database developers who are using or intend to use MAGE software. The first day is open to a wide audience and will provide a detailed tutorial, whilst the remaining two days will involve a smaller number of participants in hands-on software development.
