The Early Detection of Cancer Conference
Event Sep 24 - Sep 26, 2019
Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center
Stanford University, Palo Alto, California, USA
The Early Detection of Cancer Conference is the result of a trans-atlantic collaboration between Cancer Research UK, Canary Center at Stanford and the Knight Cancer Insitute at OHSU. The collaboration is hosting their fourth annual international conference at the Canary Center in Palo Alto, California, on 24-26 September 2019, bringing together leaders in early detection as well as top scientists and innovators in cancer research and bioengineering. The organising committee, led by Ashok Venkitaraman, Sharon Pitteri and Bree Mitchell, has put together an exciting and progressive agenda covering integrative early detection through multiple tehnologies; understanding susceptibility for early detection; looking for signals in the immune system and microenvironment; and making prognoses from early detection signals. To support this, we have confirmed a stellar line-up of contributors including Denise Aberle, Jim Ford, Ruth Etzioni, Tony Ng, Antonis Antoniou, Tanya Stoyanova and George Hanna. Registration and poster abstract submission is now open – places are limited so secure yours now.
