EU-Funded ARGUGRID Project Adopts InforSense® Integrative Analytics Technology

InforSense Ltd. has announced that the company has been selected as a technology partner in the €2M European Union (EU) funded ARGUGRID project.
The project is a collaborative effort between eight partners from five countries and is funded by the IST Grid technologies program.
The goal of ARGUGRID is to develop the next generation service-oriented computing platform for scientific and business applications.
Based on semantic web and agent-based technologies, the project is developing techniques for supporting dynamic service selection, composition and optimization by applying advanced logical reasoning over service semantics.
The development of such technology is key to the success of large-scale B2B collaborations within a service-oriented computing framework.

InforSense KDE will provide the central mechanism for computing services composition.
Enhanced by logical reasoning technology, which will be developed in the project, the InforSense workflow engine will support a paradigm for autonomic, or self-managing, service composition.
In addition, InforSense will integrate technology developed from the project into its upcoming product releases.
