NEI Corporation has moved its U.S. headquarters to a new and expanded facility in Somerset, New Jersey.
The expansion was prompted by NEI’s growth following a year of multiple product introductions and in support of aggressive future plans.
NEI claims that, the new facility doubles the company’s manufacturing floor space and will accommodate all of its corporate functions, including Research and Development, Technical Support, Sales, and Administration.
The new offices are just a few miles from its former location which will allow the company to continue to keep a strong presence in New Jersey and maintain relationships it has formed with customers, partner laboratories, and other research institutions including Rutgers University.
According to CEO, Dr Ganesh Skandan, "This represents a key milestone in the growth of NEI."
"Based on market driven demand the expansion has allowed us to increase production capacity by a factor of ten in several of our key product lines."
"Our innovative, high-quality manufacturing processes, combined with our nanotechnology know how have proven to be a potent mixture enabling us to win new business in tough markets."
"Growth is expected to continue with increased sales spurred by new products and successful capture of new market opportunities in 2006 and beyond," Skandan said.
