New Chlamydia Test Delivers Results in About 30 Minutes

296 women were recruited in the study which assessed the performance of a point-of-care assay for Chlamydia trachomatis. The test came in the form of a cartridge, which contains all reagents needed to test a sample including CT DNA extraction, polymerase chain reaction amplification, and detection using electrochemically labeled DNA probes.
