With the expansion of Promega Corporation into Brazil, now scientists in life science research, drug discovery, human identity and clinical diagnostics have direct access to technical service, fast delivery and the ability to request a quote online in Brazil.
Promega online capabilities, tailored to meet the needs of Brazilian scientists, include access to extensive resources including online chat in Portuguese.
"Brazil is making a long lasting contribution to the world through a number of its scientific initiatives including those in neuroscience, vaccines, stem cell research and green biology," says Promega CEO Bill Linton. "By providing direct service of our products and support, we hope to help further advance the research and discovery in a country that is among the biotech leaders worldwide."
The team of Promega Biotecnologia do Brasil Ltda, being led by Sérgio Nascimento, brings experience and expertise in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry and more.
"I couldn't ask for a better team to support the scientists in Brazil," says Promega Brazil General Manager Sérgio Nascimento. "They each hold tremendous experience both in the science and the business of biotech and they will be great resources for our customers." The team will provide technical support expertise, superior product knowledge and enhanced customer service.
Promega products have been used by scientists in Brazil for over 13 years thanks to the high quality and responsive services provided by former Promega distributor Prodimol Biotecnologia.
