TATAA Biocenter  is complementing its offerings in high-throughput gene expression profiling with Ingenuity® iReport™. The combined solution enables TATAA Biocenter's laboratories to provide contract research for a full range of real-time qPCR services, including primer and probe design, validation, kit and instrument evaluation, and biological and statistical analysis to academic, pharmaceutical and biotech companies world-wide.

TATAA Biocenter offers a seamless workflow, with all of the instrumentation and sample handing necessary for performing high quality qPCR experiments, and meets the specific requirements for compliance with ISO 17025. Ingenuity iReport enables researchers to quickly and easily identify significant differentially expressed genes and interpret the impact of those expression changes in the context of pathways, phenotypes and molecular interactions.

“The combination of Ingenuity iReport with TATAA Biocenter’s expertise opens up an exciting opportunity for researchers to get access to a complete qPCR workflow,” stated Bryant Macy, SVP Products and Marketing of Ingenuity Systems. “By providing a complete end-to-end workflow including access to iReport, TATAA is enabling researchers to quickly understand the biological meaning of their expression data.”

“The goal of an expression profiling study is to learn the underlying biology. By introducing Ingenuity iReport into our workflow, we are the first service provider to offer experimental design, nucleic acid extraction, QC, profiling, biostatistical and pathways analyses,” says Dr. Mikael Kubista, founder and CEO of TATAA Biocenter. “After thorough evaluation of the various alternatives for pathway analysis available, we decided on iReport, since it provides a smooth workflow with data collected on our OpenArray and BioMark high throughput qPCR platforms, reads batch-wise into GenEx software for multivariate statistical analysis, and provides an easy, accurate, web-based biological and statistical interpretation tool.”
