Randox has been established for 30 years, and has grown to become a global market leader within clinical diagnostics. Randox produces revolutionary products designed to make patient diagnosis simpler, faster and more reliable so that clinicians and patients can have confidence in results and enabling appropriate treatment to be administered in a timely manner. We therefore have in place a large, highly skilled and enthusiastic team to research, develop, manufacture, market and sell such products across the world.

Linda Magee, Global HR Manager at Randox commented; “The most frequently heard words this year in respect to employment have been “cut backs” and “redundancies”.  How refreshing it is therefore for a local company to be actively recruiting.” Within our recent intake of 42 new staff, 16 of these were qualified to PhD level, 3 to MSc and 13 to BA/BSc level. We currently employ over 900 people, across our headquarters and international offices. Due to our continually expanding product portfolio and increased demand from customers, we are experiencing considerable growth, even in these uncertain economic times.

Linda Magee continues “At Randox we have increased jobs in a wide variety of disciplines including Manufacturing, Administration, Research and Development and Sales and Marketing”. For example, our 42 new staff in October and November included scientific and technical based jobs such as; scientists, laboratory analyst, software test engineer, physicist, business related disciplines including; international marketing executives, logistics co-ordinator, telemarketing executives, accounts administrator, business development executive through to general operatives and receptionists. “This drive will not stop here, as we currently have in excess of 130 recruitment exercises running across the globe, with some also based here in Northern Ireland”, Linda concluded.

In addition to full and part time positions we also offer both business and science based graduate programmes which enable newly graduated students to gain valuable experience in a large, international company. Many students also work at Randox during their placement years with many returning full time after they graduate.

Randox is dedicated to providing exciting and fulfilling careers, providing people with a great opportunity to work within a thriving organisation. Randox has firmly put Northern Ireland on the map for producing revolutionary diagnostic solutions. It is our aim to continue to contribute further to the development of enterprise, trade and investment within the province.
