Automation & AI: Building the Digital Lab

As Director of Digital, Advanced Technology and Robotics, and a lead engineer, Rozier is passionately looking to advance Festo Didactic as a global leader in designing and implementing Industry 4.0 learning factories and demystifying I4.0 career pathways with the view to systematically prepare individuals to excel working in dynamic and complex industrial automation environments. Before joining Festo Didactic, Rozier brought 20 years of experience leading the automation engineering department for Doosan Infracore Machine Tool Corp. He specialized in the design and development of robotics and machine tool turnkey systems for the automotive, aerospace and pharmaceutical industries. Ted has managed the development of several user-friendly automation control turnkey systems on a global scale.

Matt Moseman is the Founder and President of DEVELOP LLC, a U.S.-based industrial automation and custom machine-building firm specializing in robotics, advanced manufacturing systems, and automation strategy. His work focuses on the design and deployment of robotic cells, vision systems, end-of-arm tooling, and fully integrated production lines across packaging, extrusion, and industrial manufacturing environments. Matt leads projects that help organizations transition from manual, labor-intensive processes to scalable, highly repeatable automated operations. His team is known for building machines that prioritize uptime, maintainability, safety, and real-world factory constraints—not just theoretical capability. Beyond machine delivery, Matt works closely with engineering and operations leaders to define automation roadmaps, evaluate throughput and labor tradeoffs, and align product and process design with long-term manufacturing goals. His approach is shaped by hands-on engineering experience, in-house fabrication, and years of deploying automation on active production floors. At the Lab of the Future and Digital Lab Symposium, Matt will share practical insights on how robotics and automation are reshaping technical work, improving consistency, and enabling teams to scale without sacrificing quality or reliability.

With nearly three decades of experience in scientific software, David Gosalvez brings a rare combination of technical and domain expertise with broad knowledge across scientific use cases. He is a passionate advocate for improving the efficiency and quality of science via innovative software solutions. As head of Product Strategy, David works with scientists and IT across pharma and chemical industry to set the direction of the Revvity Signals Informatics portfolio. He also works with other scientific software vendors to integrate complimentary capabilities and AI/ML models into our solutions. As Director of Cheminformatics, he was responsible for the sustained growth of ChemDraw and Spotfire Lead Discovery. Previously, David headed the interdisciplinary Science & Technology team chartered with creating the novel data management technologies that underpinned Revvity Signals platform. David also served as Executive Director of Application Development at CambridgeSoft where he brought to market the Oracle Chemistry Cartridge and ChemBioOffice Enterprise Suite.

Dr. Jericho McLeod, Principal Data Scientist at Elder Research, has more than 10 years of expertise in AI, machine learning, and data science, with a focus on developing innovative and impactful solutions for government oversight and public policy. He combines technical expertise with a passion for mentoring and innovation to establish and enhance AI capabilities. Dr. McLeod is actively involved in academia, both by conducting research leveraging AI to enable novel analytics and as an adjunct professor at George Mason University.

Shahzad is an entrepreneur, a teacher, a coach, and a dad. He has a master’s degree from Columbia University and is a certified leadership coach through the Cornell University leadership program. He also holds a certification in AI in Healthcare from Stanford University. While at Columbia, Shahzad won the Columbia Innovation award for his invention, KloudSign, a digital signage solution. He joined Accelirate as part of the acquisition of his Salesforce start up, araZach. While at araZach, Shahzad also created botConnector, an RPA based integration solution for connecting patient data with Health Cloud. Most recently, he was part of the Boston University MBA program teaching team. He is a musician and a poet.
