Innovations in Disease Modeling 2023
This online symposium will explore the tools and techniques being used to study diseases in the lab. Focus will be given to cell culture, organs-on-chips and key modeling strategies, as well as how research advances are enabling researchers to elucidate the underlying biological mechanisms of disease and support diagnostic and therapeutic development.
This online symposium will cover:
- CRISPR-Cas9 tumor modeling
- A robust skin-on-chip system to model infectious diseases
- Paired transcriptomics and imaging data
- Precision medicine to clinical trial in a dish
- Hepatic 3D spheroids
- Gene editing approaches in mitochondrial disease
- iPSC-Derived Disease Models in Neurodegeneration
