Ethnicity and Help-seeking
Ethnic minorities have traditionally underutilized mental health services. It has been proposed that both willingness to see a counselor and attitudes towards seeking psychological help may impact utilization of psychological services among ethnic minority populations. The aim of this study was to explore the relationship between willingness to see a counselor and attitudes toward seeking psychological help among college students.

Microfluidic assembly of magnetic gel particles
Monodisperse spherical magnetic gel particles containing asymmetric infrastructure were fabricated by a new microfluidics-based technique using double-emulsion droplet as templates. Double emulsions with functional cores and hydrogel shells were generated by the flow-focusing drop makers with special wettability patterning. Particles were made with a consistently anisotropic internal structure, which leads to their uniform anisotropy to perform the highly rotational controls by applying the magn

Treatment of Plaque Infections and Periodontitis using Stem Cells- A New Prospect
Dental precursor cells are attractive for novel approaches to treat diseases like periodontitis, dental caries or to improve dental pulp healing and the regeneration of craniofacial bone and teeth. These cells are easily accessible and, in contrast to bone-marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells, are more closely related to dental tissues. This paper gives a short overview of stem cells of dental origin.

DNA polymorphism in the pepper-Phytophthora capsici pathosystem
Phytophthora capsici is an important soilborne pathogen that produces a devastating disease on many crop species, including pepper. To analyze DNA polymorphism in the P. capsici-pepper pathosystem, six C. annuum lines with various degrees of resistance to P. capsici: Padrón, Couto,CM334,PI201234, SP-11 and JEP; and two P. capsici isolates,GSP1-1 and Ppc3, selected for different levels of virulence, were tested with a variety of molecular markers

A major gene for grain cadmium accumulation in soybean (Glycine max [L] Merr)
Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL) analyses were conducted in a population derived from a cross of varieties which differ in their seed Cd accumulation. Results suggested that seed Cd accumulation might be controlled by one major gene

Reactome - a knowledgebase of human biological pathways
Reactome is a manually curated knowledgebase, created and peer-reviewed by experts in their field. Its robust data model describes life processes ranging from metabolism to signal transduction and the cell cycle. As of release 28, Reactome contains 3700 human proteins in 3200 reactions. Data is cross-referenced to publicly available web-based informatics resources. Reactome features the SkyPainter tool for analysis of high-throughput datasets, and the Mart query and data retrieval tool.

Panic attack and suicide risk: A multivariate logistic regression analysis of a national epidemiological survey
To examine the relationship between panic attack and suicide risk, we analyzed data from a representative epidemiological survey of 43,093 adults (NESARC) using logistic regression controlling for socio-demographic and clinical variables. In depression, panic attacks are associated with increased odds of suicide attempt even after controlling for demographic and clinical variables. Furthermore, panic attacks can differentiate those who attempt suicide from those with ideation only.

What reduces ambulatory sensitive hospitalisation?
This poster showcases our review of interventions that were found to be effective in reducing ambulatory sensitive hospitalisations (ASH). ASH refers to those conditions where hospitalisations an be avoided by measures taken by clinicians and other carers at outpatient departments or in the community.
