Discover a New Approach to Modeling Neurodegeneration

Modeling Neurodegeneration

Patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) are commonly used to recapitulate human disease phenotypes in vitro.

However, conventional iPSC protocols can be lengthy, inconsistent, difficult to scale, and often lack genetically matched controls.

This poster demonstrates how a novel, precise and highly controlled iPSC reprogramming technology overcomes these limitations and enables the generation of mature cell types and isogenic models of neurodegenerative disease.

  • Innovative precision reprogrammed, stem cell-derived human disease models for research and drug discovery
  • How precision reprogrammed iPSCs with disease-relevant mutations in Tau and TDP-43 offer a highly consistent model of neurodegenerative disease
  • How these disease models present disease-relevant phenotypes that can offer insights in a human background
