Dolomite Launches New Electro-osmotic Pumps

In collaboration with Osmotex, Dolomite has launched a new range of advanced Electro-osmotic Pumps (EO Pumps) which can significantly reduce the influence of electrochemistry and bubble formation in microfluidic systems compared to conventional EO pumps.

As part of Dolomite’s new OEM modules and components, the compact low power pumps are extremely small in size, ideal for easy integration into custom systems and portable instruments where space is at a premium. The range includes two EO Pump Cores, Basic and Bubble Free, as well as an EO Pump Open Interface with 1/4 – 28 outlet offering increased user flexibility. Operating over a wide flow range from 5_l/min to 150_l/min the microfluidic devices can be used with a number of fluids, such as DI water, ionic solutions and alcohols, benefiting a broad range of industries and applications including consumer electronics, medical instruments, fuel cells and microfluidic experimentations.
