With the columns of the new Anion line, Hamilton sets new quality standards in the field of ion chromatography.

The columns combine outstanding durability with high separation efficiency, guaranteeing excellent results in standard anion analysis.

The various column models satisfy the needs of numerous application fields and offer a complete, high-quality solution.

Hamilton‘s Anion column line was conceived having in mind the special requirements of standard anion analysis in aqueous solutions.

Packed inside the columns, there is a specially designed, highly cross-linked porous packaging material.

The surface chemistry for ionic exchange has a strong covalent bond that gives the columns outstanding durability and high efficiency throughout the entire life of the column even under difficult conditions.

The columns within the Anion column line can be used with aqueous and all organic solvents at pH from 1 to 13.

Their solid polymeric carrier particles remain stable up to a pressure of 350 bar. To ensure metal-free analysis, the column hardware is constructed of polyether ether ketone (PEEK).

The columns are compatible with every ion chromatograp and HPLC system. They guarantee excellent results and were optimized for many applications. Four different optimized columns offer a high-quality, complete solution for anion analysis.

The Anion Resolution column is a high resolution column with high sample-loading capacity to allow the analysis of both high and low ion concentrations in a single run.

The Anion Fast column is designed for quick analysis processes for the separation of standard ions in less than 15 minutes.

It is well-balanced for good resolution and short analysis time and is suitable for medium and low solution concentrations that range from one to 500 ppm.

If it’s about separating or isolating small sample quantities, the Anion Micro column is the ideal solution.

It offers a high resolution of standard anions and can be used with micro pumps with a low flow rate in the range of microliters per minute.

Finally, the Anion Trace column is suitable for separating standard anions and oxyhalides.

For the analysis of very low concentrations in the ppb range, the signal-to-noise ratio is improved compared to conventional columns.

In addition, the columns are characterized by improved peak shapes and shorter retention times in the later eluting anions.
