Implen GmbH has announced its product, the NanoPhotometer™. Designed as routine tool for molecular biology labs the system offers built in methods for nucleic acid or protein analysis, fluorescence dye incorporation and cell density measurements.

The required sample volumes start as low as 0.7 µl with an automatic sample dilution of 1/10 or 1/50.

In addition the NanoPhotometer™ is also able to handle standard cuvette applications (quartz and plastic) for all kinds of spectrophotometric tasks (full spectrum scans, kinetics, standard curve, etc.).

Equipped with USB or Bluetooth connection, the NanoPhotometer can be linked to a computer network for data export (Excel, ASCII, etc.) and printing exercises.

A built-in printer option is also available for the unit. No computer is necessary to operate the NanoPhotometer™, the compact design allows easy transport of the instrument with minimum space requirement on the lab bench.

Implen offers a complete portfolio of products from sample preparation to hybridization as well as post hybridization treatment.

Implen's system solutions are designed to achieve improved homogeneity, maximum signal intensity, reduced reaction times and a high discrimination for microarray based applications.
