Microsonic Systems Inc. has announced that the company is expanding its business to Asia-Pacific. The R&D 100 Award-winning HENDRIX SM100 Ultrasonic Fluid Processor is now available in Singapore through Bio Laboratories Pte Ltd. and in Japan through Kiko Tech Co., Ltd.

“Microsonics is delighted to partner with both Bio Laboratories for Singapore and Kiko Tech for Japan distribution of Microsonics’ HENDRIX SM100,” said Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Bruce Jamieson. “Bio Laboratories is the leading life sciences distributor in Singapore, with considerable expertise introducing new technologies to top scientists. Likewise, Kiko Tech has been instrumental in building the high-throughput ultrasonic device market in Japan. We look forward to long and very productive partnerships in these very important markets for Microsonics.”

The HENDRIX SM100 Ultrasonic Fluid Processor serves four key applications: compound solubilization, sample thawing, microplate mixing, and magnetic particle/cell suspension. In the next few months, several HENDRIX SM100 systems will be delivered to Singapore and Japan for pharmaceutical research uses, the company informs.
