The ChemDraw and Chem3D packages from PerkinElmer have been adapted for the iPad and are now available from the App Store. They represent the first of a series of mobile applications that the company is developing to help scientists while they are on the move.

Both applications are integrated with the Flick-to-Share technology which allows users to share their data across a number of mobile platforms, eliminating the need for multi-step emails and cloud storage services.

Initial user comments on the App Store are positive, pointing out its intuitive nature and ease of use.
