Precision Gets a Whole New Meaning with the Launch of the PicoPRECISE!

Researchers in Life Science application areas are constantly seeking new ways to obtain better results from liquid handling technologies. PolyPico have brought to the market the definitive instrument in precision dispensing. Suitable for applications such as Drug Discovery, POC Diagnostics and Stem Cell printing, this patented technology utilises disposable cartridges which removes cross contamination risk, ancillary cleaning equipment, and process costs.

This new instrument allows the end user to perform ultra-low volume dispenses with an accuracy of 2% CV at sub 10-micron placement. The protective enclosure allows for multiple slide and plate positions while keeping the fluid or biomaterial solution contamination free by utilising disposable plastic cartridges. The PicoPRECISE user friendly software supports serial dilution, dosing curves, single agent transfers and user pattern importer. In addition, the compact benchtop size allows for a reduced laboratory space.

Speaking at the pre-launch at DCU Nano Research Facility in Dublin, Alan Crean of PolyPico Technologies commented that the PicoPRECISE “is the product of listening to our customers and combining ultra-high precision with ultra-low volume to deliver outstanding results.
