80+ Mutants From SARS-CoV-2 Variants of Concern
After the sharp rise in COVID-19 cases and deaths in India over recent weeks, at least 20 countries have imposed travel bans and restrictions to and from India. The world again stands at a crossroad of the viral evolution.
Some preliminary studies yield necessary findings that may help prevent massive transmission of the variant. Certainly, to introduce appropriate public health interventions in the future, continuous genomic surveillance is needed to monitor the mutations on B.1.617 and other emerging variants of SARS-CoV-2.
ACROBiosystems has accelerated the development of a series of recombinant antigens of the SARS-CoV-2 Variants of Concern, including B.1.617, accordingly to help better understand the transmissibility and infectivity of the variant.
Featured Products
All critical mutations covered
- Full length S trimer with multiple mutations
- 6P and 2A mutations make the protein more stable

Broad-spectrum neutralizing antibody
It is exciting that an anti-SARS-CoV-2 Spike RBD neutralizing antibody (Cat. No. S1N-M122) developed by ACROBiosystems retains potent neutralizing activity against popular SARS-CoV-2 variants as tested by pseudovirus assay. The broad-spectrum neutralizing antibody is suitable to be a positive control in neutralization antibody screening, QC test reagent for both recombinant protein vaccines and COVID-19 neutralizing antibody detection in vaccinated serum.
