Measuring Antitumor Effect of c-Myr-Max heterodimerization inhibitor 100258-F4 on Ovarian Cancer Cells using Cellometer Imaging Cytometry
The effect from the c-Mycinhibitor 100258-F4 was clearly observed from the G0/G1 cell cycle arrest and the increase in early and late apoptotic cell. The Cellometer method can measure fluorescent cell-based assays such as cell cycle, apoptosis, protein expression, autophagy and viability. The ability to export the data to FCS Express facilitates simple data analysis and reporting to generate results for publications.

An In Silico Test Battery for Rapid Evaluation of Genotoxic and Carcinogenic Potential of Chemicals
The FDA guidance for industry states impurities under the ICH threshold may be exaluated for genotoxicity and carcinogenicity. This study uses an expert system to detect mutagens and compounds labeled as potent carcinogens by the FDA.

Demethylation and Re-Expression of Tumor Suppressor Genes: A Novel Approach for Cancer Therapy
In this study, we demonstrated that a combination therapy using suboptimal doses of HDACi and calpeptin, an inhibitor of calpain, produced synergistic type growth inhibition and reduced cancer cell motility in cancer cells. We hypothesize that the re-expression of tumor suppressor genes by demethylation and other mechanisms sensitize the cells and allows for apoptotic death.

Determination of Sudan I and its Analogues in food
Sudan I is the common name given to 1-phenylazo-2-naphthol, a fat-soluble dye used industrially to colour oils, waxes, greases, varnishes etc. It has been recognised by health authorities as being potentially carcinogenic, and is banned as a food additive in the UK and across the European Union.

Quantitative phosphoproteome analysis for the detection of early alterations of signal transduction by dioxin (TCDD)
2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) is an extremely toxic pollutant and regarded the most potent chemical carcinogen in experimental animals. Most of its biological effects are mediated by binding of TCDD to the cytosolic Ah receptor (AHR). In addition, TCDD cause AHR-dependent alterations in signal transduction that are independent of changes in gene expression. In this study, we have therefore conducted a quantitative phospho proteomic study on TCDD-induced alterations.
