Advanced Centrifugal Microfluidics for Point-of-Care Applications

This talk will demonstrate a fully integrated sample-to-answer genotyping assay from whole blood. The assay is implemented on a LabDisk and is performed within 2 hours on a small and lightweight instrument. Novel and advanced centrifugal unit operations will be discussed such as integrated pneumatic pumping and automated bead handling.
