Harnessing the Immune System Against Cancer by Targeting CD25

The shared CD25 activation mechanism on regulatory and effector T cells has been a big challenge when designing immunotherapy drugs. Cancer Research UK scientists from University College London in collaboration with Roche, have developed a new antibody that can target CD25 specifically on regulatory T cells while leaving effector T cells intact.
