Map of Science (and Everything Else)
This video investigates what makes a science a science, and how the scientific method is used in different subjects. All of the areas of human endeavor are laid out along with how they relate to each other from philosophy, through the sciences, to the social sciences, the arts and back to philosophy. The main theme is that the scientific method is harder and harder to apply to subjects as they deal with more and more complex systems.
