About the Speaker
Guangwen Chen completed his Bachelor (1989), Master degree (1998) in Chemical Engineering at Zhejiang University. He received his PhD (1999) in Chemical Engineering at Dalian Istitute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences under instruction of Prof. Quan Yuan. Then he worked at DICP, and founded the Group of Microchemical Enginnering & Technology in 2001, and was appointed as the group head. In 2012 he got “National Outstanding Young Scientist Award” from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Current research interests cover transport phenomena, organic synthesis and inorganic functional materials, and numbering-up law for microchannel reactors. At present, he is member of advisory board of Chemical Engineering & Technology, editorial board of CIESC Journal and Mordern Chemical Industry.
AbstractThe report mainly illustrates the development and application of the microreaction technology with several examples of industrial applications, such as sulfonation, nitration and nanomaterials.
