Influenza Vaccine Viral Protein Profiling for Viral Potency

WATCH ON-DEMAND

Influenza vaccines typically consist of either attenuated, inactivated viruses or virosomes, which are virus-like particles that contain antigenic proteins. The viral potency is normally measured by the quantification of hemagglutinin (HA), a type of glycoprotein embedded in the viral bilayer and on the virus's outer surface contained in the virosomes.

In this on-demand webinar, we will discuss a new approach to profiling influenza proteins. The solution demonstrated will showcase how commercially available kits and prebuilt cartridges used together with capillary gel electrophoresis with sodium dodecyl sulphate (CE-SDS) can separate viral proteins with ease

Watch this webinar to:
  • Understand how CE provides highly resolved separation and detection of individual HA proteins
  • Discover how CE-SDS provides a fast reproducible assay that is compatible with 96 well plates
  • Identify how the method can be adapted to the analysis of multiple viral strains
